Poverty Simulation

This software is designed with the aim to know the personal aptitudes related with poverty situations. Ten problem are presented in a sequentially format. In each conflict the “new poor person” is conducted to choice if they accept or not (or delay) the option. Information about the government, civil society, globalization, friends and family are presented. In the role playing situation, the new poor person will live during 15 minutes, relevant poverty problems: education, income, lack social power, discrimination, basics needs, corruption, crime, justice, family necessities. The software registers the main actions and the feelings and ideas about the situation. Finally, the software shows in the plane text, the principal economic results (cash, debt and credit) and all ideas and feelings expressed. Through a qualitative analysis, we can observe and compare the “resilience” actions and the “circular” feelings in poverty closed situation. Are you interested in this experience?
